Hi, I’m Kristy Barnes, and I’ve been helping people find their place to call home right here in beautiful West Kentucky. I love what I do — connecting with clients, guiding them through every step, and celebrating when the keys finally change hands.

I’m proud to call Murray, Kentucky home. After graduating from Murray State University in 2001 with a Bachelor of Science degree, I planted my roots here and never looked back. This community means a lot to me, and I enjoy helping others discover all the reasons it’s such a wonderful place to live.

In addition to working with buyers and sellers, I stay involved in our industry by serving on the Murray-Calloway Board of Realtors, where I’m honored to serve as President for 2025. Giving back to the profession that has given me so much is something I truly value.

Carrie with KW was a pleasure to work with as our listing/selling agent. We have bought and sold a few properties over the last 10 years. We decided to give Carrie and her team a try with our most recent home sell and they exceeded our expectations! She listened, gave sound advice, did not try to talk us into accepting offers nor push us to list at a lower price. She was always available, knowledgeable, she made excellent pictures of our home (and I’m picky) was prompt with presenting documents back and forth and even helped with our little dog. She and her team had our home sold in less than a month with a solid offer. The closing was painless as well!
